**Vegan Review** I have always loved zombie burger and I still do but I would love to see them expand their vegan options. Some unique vegan burger choices, shakes, and appetizers would be great. This is one of the only restaurants in the area that is suitable for large parties to dine together and meet dietary needs for everyone. I know several other vegan people who would love and support vegan modifications. When dining in the food does take a while to come out and it usually takes like at least 30 minutes just to get the bill and check out. I'm not sure if they are short staffed or if they could just be more proactive with getting tickets closed out. The atmosphere is so fun and immersive. This is a great spot for grabbing cocktails downtown or dinning with larger parties. I like the concept of having the "To go" side for quicker service and the dine in section which does take awhile but still a great experience.

Great theme for a restaurant. Atmosphere staff and crowd made a good dining experience. The menu has a wide variety of appetizers, burgers and drinks as well as other items. I had the Undead Elvis burger. Elvis burgers are well known with burger aficionado's. The peanut butter, deep-fried, banana slices, bacon, egg, and cheese with their special zombie sauce made a great meal. I also had a side of zombie poutine, which tasted great. The fries were just the right kind of crispy all in all a great choice for downtown Des Moines

This place is on a lot of lists that describe top things to do in Des Moines and with good reason as there's not much to do there. Nevertheless, the food here is top notch. The service was attentive while not being pushy. It's zombie themed that covers a wide gamut of the genre. It's very kid friendly; nothing is really scary. Parking was easy enough. It's a fun place.

Review Visit: September 15th, 2015 Food for thought. Literally. Zombie Burger was recommended by a friend in a band. He discovered it while on tour. All I need to say is that if you love ZOMBIES, you need to give this place a shot. Every square inch of the interior is zombie themed. The menu is zombie themed. The zombies are zombie themed... wait. Between the fantastic food, unique menu/atmosphere and diabetic-inducingly delicious cake shakes, this place is a treat. It would be a no-brainer that you should visit this place if you are in the area. Alternatively, there is one located in Ankeny, IA or West Des Moines, IA if you are in those area instead.

If you're looking for a place with unique burgers, look no further! All the food is delicious and unique and so is the atmosphere. Lots of TVs if you're looking to watch the game as well. Service was quick, even for the large group. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the burger patties themselves were kind of dry and firm, but the Mac and cheese made up for it.

A fun dining experience, combining great food, excellent customer service, and a unique "goremet" environment. We visited a week before Halloween, so that's their sweet spot, and the decor reflected the calendar. There was very cool artwork and murals throughout, and the entire place was in theme. We chose to sit at the bar, had an incredibly hard-working and kind bartender, and made the whole experience elevate another notch. I loved my selection from their themed Glizzy's Five Nights menu. I had a "Foxy," a delicious grilled hot dog combined with chicken, bacon, biscuit crumbles, pickles, shredded lettuce, and mayo on a hoagie. Wow, it was good. Their fries are tremendous!

We visited one of the most famous burger joints in Des Moines. Zombie Burger + Drink Lab has been serving up smash burgers with a side of the walking dead. So many unique burger options. Even one with a Mac & Cheese deep fried bun! I tried the Raygun. Cooked to perfection with all the flavor. And don't skip out on the shakes. The chocolate cake shake spiked with Tippy Cow Chocolate Rum Cream was incredible. Service was top notch and fast. They offer dine in and carry out and even have a wrap around outdoor patio.

I really enjoyed the food and the service. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and helped me decide what to get. I got the East Village of the Damned Burger and some European Olympic poutine (a limited time menu for the Olympics. The food portions are huge. I got a half order of the poutine and had to ask if what the brought me was right. It was. The price was good for the quality and volume. The interior decorations of zombie art were fun and pretty stylish. I would definitely come back
